Every new Videna install comes with 10 welcome credits. You do not have to enter a payment method to use them and they never expire. They are there so you can see what the app produces before you pick a plan.
What 10 credits buys
A 5 second clip at 480p costs 3 credits. A 5 second clip at 720p costs 5 credits. A 5 second clip at 1080p costs 10 credits. So 10 credits gets you three 480p test clips, two 720p clips, or one full quality 1080p clip. Most merchants spend their welcome credits on two 720p tries.
Spend them on a real product
The point of the welcome credits is to learn what Videna does for your store, not to play with abstract prompts. Pick the product you most want to advertise. Use a clean product photo as a reference. Write a prompt that describes a real moment a customer would see. The output will tell you whether Videna fits your brand far better than any sample reel.
Settings that stretch your free credits
Stay at 720p and 5 seconds while you learn. The quality jump from 480p to 720p is large. The jump from 720p to 1080p is much smaller and only matters when you are about to publish. Pick a single style for your first two tries so you can see how prompts change the output without the style changing under you.
What to skip until you upgrade
Skip 1080p, 8 second durations, and Cinematic style during your free trial. They cost more credits and the quality difference rarely shows up in a small mobile feed. Save them for after you have a prompt formula that works.
When credits run out
When your balance hits zero, the generate button on the Create page changes to Upgrade. Your library, your saved characters, and your settings all stay exactly where they are. Once you pick a plan, your new credit balance is available within a few seconds.
If you want to extend your trial before committing to a subscription, contact us through the support page and tell us what you are testing. We can usually grant a small bonus.
