This walkthrough takes about three minutes and uses one credit if you stick to the defaults.
Open the Create page
In the left navigation in your Shopify admin, click Create. You will see a dark prompt panel with a big text area, two thumbnail slots on the right, and a row of pills underneath.
Pick the product you want to advertise
Click the PRODUCT thumbnail. Shopify's product picker opens. Pick any product. Videna pulls the title, the first image, and basic metadata so the ad has something concrete to work with.
The product image becomes the visual starting point for image to video models. If you only have a logo, the ad will be about the logo. See link a Shopify product for what makes a good input image.
Write the prompt
In the big text area, describe what should happen on screen. Keep it concrete:
A woman in her 30s opens a small box on her kitchen counter, lifts out the bottle, smiles, and turns it toward the camera so the label is readable.
For more on prompt writing, see write prompts that actually work.
Pick a style
Click the style pill (the one with the clapperboard icon). Pick UGC for your first try. It looks the most natural and is the safest bet for a product on a camera. The other looks are explained in pick the right ad style.
Leave the rest on defaults
The defaults give you a 10 second 480p ad in 9:16 with audio, on the Pro model. That costs roughly 9 credits. Full math is in how credits work. You can change resolution, duration, aspect ratio, and model from the pills at the bottom.
Hit Generate
The Generate button shows the live credit cost. Click it. You will land on the video details page where the status moves through queued, processing, and completed. Most generations finish in 30 to 90 seconds.
Save or download
When the video appears, you can play it, download the MP4, or click Create new version to remix the same prompt with different settings.
That is your first ad. Up next: a tour of your dashboard.
