Removing Videna works the same as removing any other Shopify app, but it helps to know what happens to your subscription, your credits, and your video library before you click uninstall. This guide walks through the whole process so there are no surprises.
How to uninstall
Open your Shopify admin and go to Settings, then Apps and sales channels, or open the Apps area from the main menu. Find Videna in the list, click the three dots next to it, and choose Uninstall. Shopify asks you to confirm. Once you confirm, Videna loses access to your store right away and the app disappears from your admin. Shopify has a full walkthrough on its manage apps page.
What happens to billing
When you uninstall, Shopify cancels your Videna subscription automatically, so no future charges are created. Shopify bills app subscriptions at the start of each 30 day period, which means the period you are currently in has already been charged and is not refunded when you leave partway through. What happens to your videos and credits
Right after you uninstall, your library and your credit balance are held in case you change your mind and reinstall soon. About 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends Videna a data deletion request, and at that point your store data is permanently removed. After that window there is nothing left to restore. If you reinstall later
Reinstalling within that first 48 hour window brings your account back where you left off, including your remaining credits and your full library.
